The Itinerary
DAY 1: CHARLES DARWIN RESEARCH STATION
Arrival at Baltra’s Airport by TAME airline flight from Quito or Guayaquil
Our guide will be waiting for you at the airport
Transfer by bus to the Itabaca Channel, ferry crossing of the channel and bus ride to Puerto Ayora
Arrival at the Hotel lobo de Mar
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, see Giant Tortoises
Afternoon Scuba Equipment check at the Dive Shop
DAY 2: ACADEMY BAY. TORTUGA BEACH
Breakfast, and boat ride to dive in Punta Estrada ( front of the shark’s cove), in Academy Bay
Second dive in La loberia (home of sea lions)
Play with them diving.Light lunch on the boat or in a local restaurant.Afternoon will be free
You can visit Tortuga Beach, a 45 minute walk or just stroll around Puerto Ayora
DAY 3: GORDON ROCKS AND MOSQUERA
Breakfast and Boat ride to Gordon Rocks (or Plazas island for beginners) for a extraordinary dive
First, you will do a check dive for safety
Gordon rocks is an extinted volcanoe, dramatic landscape
Surface interval and Boat ride to Mosquera, it is an underwater cliff
Sea lions, marine turtles, rays and sharks
Hammerheads from July to December
Many, many fish
Light lunch and snacks on board
DAY 4: SEYMOUR NORTH AND DAPHNE MINOR
Breakfast and Transfer by car to Itabaca Channel
Boat ride to Seymour (cliff and current) and Daphne Minor (wall dive)
Two great dives with chances of seeing sea horses, mantas, rays, turtles and sharks
Hammerheads from July to December
Light lunch and snacks on board
DAY 5: SEYMOUR NORTH AND GORDON ROCKS
Breakfast and Transfer by car to Itabaca Channel
Boat ride to Seymour and Gordon Rocks, Two great dives
with chances of seeing mantas, rays, turtles and hammerhead sharks
Amazing landscape
Light lunch on board
DAY 6: SANTA FE (LA BOTELLA AND THE CLIFF)
Breakfast and Boat ride to Santa Fe, one of the biggest colonies of sea lions
Two dives outside the bay of Santa Fe, in la Botella, and the cliff, where you will enjoy two nice dives with many fish
Light lunch and snacks on board
DAY 7: FLOREANA (ENDERBY AND DEVIL’S CROWN)
Breakfast and early departure by Boat to the islets of Floreana
One great dive in Enderby
Mantas, Galapagos sharks
Forest of Black coral
Second dive in Devil’s Crown, an extinted volcano
Light lunch and snacks on board.
DAY 8: BALTRA
Breakfast and transfer to Baltra Airport by bus and ferry
General Information
Included:
Transfer to and from the airport and Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island)
Accommodations in Lobo de Mar, double standard room, oceanfront.
Breakfast, and lunch
Transportation by land and sea to the marine reserve.
Full diving equipment. Genesis regulator with octopus, pressure gauge, depth-meter, Genesis B.C.D.(all sizes), Wet suits 7 m/m, booties, mask, fins, weight belts and aluminum air tanks
Bilingual Dive Guide will give you the briefing and always dives with the group to guarantee the safety and pleasure of the dive
